I'm a little obsessed with
Our Best Bites. They seriously have the yummiest recipes! They also have the best recipes for 'Kids in the Kitchen'. A few months ago we made
slime and it was a
huge hit with Ethan and his cousin. So when I happened upon this recipe for edible playdough I could not resist - it was the perfect Sunday afternoon craft. And it was delicious. We're talking peanut butter fudge delicious. We're talking I had to force myself to let Ethan play with it delicious. Or maybe I was just hungry? Hmmmm, nope it was just yummy! The first thing Ethan made was a snow-peanut butter-man. The only bad part was that we had to keep Layni away from the fun because she had a mild allergic reaction to peanut butter when she was exposed, luckily is was just a skin reaction, but I still didn't want a repeat (at least until we see an allergist and they give us the go ahead on PB for the little miss!).
Ethan captured his 'snow'man on film all by himself! I'll have to share his version when I upload them...

Layni found something to occupy her time while E played with the playdough!
Daddy made mommy some yummy nachos to compliment the peanut butter play dough... time to work out??
